“Dude(s). I think I might have just signed off on my book…. After a f—–g DECADE of dragging my a**,” she wrote on Friday, August 5. But with one piece of good news comes a concurrent letdown: The book—entitled The Girl With the Most Cake—doesn’t have a release date yet. “There’s a (no kidding) very real power supply chain back up, so don’t ask me when (The important thing is that it’s good now.),” Love wrote. “I seem to have 29 lives and counting,” she told her followers of her wild life story. “With crazy luck of being in the right place, right time (and sometimes way wrong!)” She went on to give a rundown of what she’ll cover in her pages, mentioning her time in a maximum security juvenile detention facility in Oregon, as well as more personal details about her family, including her mother and “impossibly glamorous grandmother,” that haven’t always been told truthfully. “F–k an untrue narrative bc that’s what people ’like,’” she added in the caption. “The truth is much more fun, more rich, makes more sense. And there’s lots of rags too!” Love—who was previously married to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain before his death in 1994—has been planning to release her memoir for years—it was initially supposed to hit shelves in 2013. In 2014, Love called the project a “disaster,” according to Page Six, leaving her fans to anxiously await the bombshell book for multiple more years. But this time, things seem to be going to plan, with Love ending off Friday’s announcement with, “Anyway. So far, so good. CIAO!” More News:
