The Black-ish star took to Instagram on Dec. 22 to upload a few snaps of herself emerging out of a lagoon-looking body of water in Jamaica. Just beneath her in the background of the shot, a yellow and red kayak sat atop the water, as if she had just exited the small boat. Ross smiled and appeared relaxed amongst the tranquil nature scenery, as she sported a wet turquoise vintage ’90s tee (complete with holes to show for its age) and bikini bottoms in the photos. “🇯🇲 one love” the Girlfriends actress captioned the set of images. Fans and friends hopped into the comments to show love for the fresh-faced shots. “😍Reminds me of that old school Jamaica 🇯🇲 advertisement 😍” one social media user noted, as Tyler, the Creator dropped, “you lit.” Another Instagrammer penned: “If she does nothing else, she’s going to prop that phone up and take them pictures. 😍😍😍,” likely referencing the Golden Globe winner’s propensity for delivering content comprised of self-captured snapshots. The official account for the Jamaica Tourist Board even slipped a comment in under the post, writing: “Welcome to the home of One Love 🇯🇲” “I been trying to stay out the comments, but I seen the homies here so whatever I’m back 😍😍😍” a fifth user joked. In the last image of the slideshow, Ross also showcased a new collection of tortoise-print products from her haircare brand, Pattern. Earlier this week, the 50-year-old flaunted her natural curves and trim bod in another set of bikini-clad photos, seemingly from the same island location. The Emmy-winning actress has been living it up while in the country of lush greenery, sharing several moments from her travels, including a lively dance video.
