Who Will Be the Next Bachelor?
Bachelor Nation may be surprised to learn that it’s someone who fans don’t even know yet. In fact, the next Bachelor is a contestant on Michelle Young’supcoming season, which didn’t even air yet! Per Reality Steve, it’s Clayton Echard from the upcoming Bachelorette season, so we won’t meet him until the premiere of Young’s season on October 19.According to Reality Steve, they are filming at Echard’s high school tomorrow. Other footage of Echard has emerged as well. While much isn’t known about Echard, he’s a sales representative at Stryker Orthopaedics and attended Southeast Missouri State University. “I enjoy hiking and biking on the nature trailers around the Columbia area,” he shared on his LinkedIn page. “I make it my duty to emphasize living a healthy lifestyle, therefore I exercise daily and am in the process of learning to cook healthy meals that also surprisingly have flavor!” Echard was also a Division I football player at the University of Missouri and was a free agent player for the Seattle Seahawks for two months before not being selected to make the final roster, per his LinkedIn page.
When Will the Next Season of The Bachelor Air?
A premiere date has yet to be announced for Season 26 of The Bachelor. Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, the most recent one, premiered in January of 2021. It seems possible that the next season could follow a similar schedule since Young’s season of TheBachelorette, which reportedly began production on July 30, is set to premiere Oct. 19. Thurston and Young were revealed as the Bachelorette leads during James’ After the Final Rose special, so perhaps ABC will make the official Bachelor announcement after Young’s finale.
