After the Maroon 5 frontman, 43, was accused of cheating on his pregnant wife, Behati Prinsloo, with Instagram model Sumner Stroh, Kramer is opening up about how the situation hits a little too close to home. The country singer, 38—who previously split from ex-husband Mike Caussin over multiple instances of infidelity—recently chimed in on the accusations against Levine, which she says is “triggering” to her. “I am over the stuff that happened [to me],” but it’s still very triggering when something comes up," Kramer revealed on the Sunday, Sept. 25 episode of her “Whine Down” podcast, further elaborating, “I was pregnant when my ex cheated.” The “I Got the Boy” singer was cheated on more than once by Caussin, before officially divorcing him in 2021. The exes still share custody of their two children: Jolie, 6, and Jace, 3. “To hear these words—‘My wife and my family is all I care about in this world’—that was always my big issue in my marriage. How am I? How? When? Before or after when you said ‘You’re the hottest girl in the world to some other women.’” After Stroh went public with her claims against Levine on TikTok, the former The Voice judge took to Instagram to apologize for the “inappropriate” and “flirtatious” conversations he had with other women, although he insisted he never had an affair. “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together,” he later added. Kramer continued during Sunday’s podcast, “Not trying to make this about me or anything, but I feel like when someone cheats or is inappropriate, their apology is what triggers me the most.” “The ’never’ really bothers me too,” she added. “I don’t agree with the phrase ‘once a cheater always a cheater,’ because I was a cheater in my ’20s. I have cheated on a few relationships. Not proud of that at all. I see now why I did certain things, I’ve dissected that piece of me, but I can’t say—I don’t think I could do that ever again—but I can’t say ’never.’” More News:
